The best photos have
- Natural light and a clearly visible face
- Eyes, ears and important markings in focus
- The full area you want included in the portrait
- Minimal blur, heavy filters or screenshots
- The original image file whenever possible
Please avoid
- Very dark photos where facial details disappear
- Images downloaded from social media when the original is available
- Strong beauty filters or color filters
- Photos where ears, paws or the top of the head are already cropped
- Tiny images enlarged from a screenshot
